Saratoga County Democratic Committee for the last decade before resigning in
2011, is coming into town to have his ass kissed. Bulman’s successor Todd
Kerner will be attending to polish the boy kings crown. Weepin' Willie McTygue
will be there minus his squeeze Joanne Yepsen {no women allowed} but she will
be sending over a plate of what else? “Cup cakes”.

will be present and part of the
reason for the meeting is to massage his bruised ego after Yepsen got the nod
for Mayor.

as they carve up the city after they sweep into power in November at least that's what they convinced themselves will happen.

Delsette has always been a big scirocco supporter even over Mctygue that's why I find it hard to believe Bill Mctygue would be in the same room with these parasites.

Billy is a cganged man. He is obsessed with his role as "pupprt master" and has prostituted everything he stood for for his selfsatisfaction. He is a shell of the man he was. He is willing to deal with anyone to maintain some level of status. Very alarming. I feel sorry for this broken man who relies on woman to give him some level of status. Civil service at the local level should be eliminated. This corrupt service has to go. The city can utilize civil service at the county level. The dealing has to stop.Hopefully that is eliminated suring the Charter review process along with the default budget which relegates the responsibility to get it right rather than live with a bad budget. It restores power to the total council and not the Mayor which has been wrongly stated by the Dem Committee who love to deal with inuendo rather than fact. Looking at their response to the State of the City Address you would swear they were in a different room. They reflect a lack of respect even for each other. They are all power mungers who would stab anyone in the back to obtain that power. Ask Tommy. They tossed him out and now they want his support.

Not only did Skippy give Elio's niece a job, he also gave her a $3,000 raise the first yr. she was transferred from the water dept. to DPW office because she could no long drive a city car to read meters after a "few" DWI's. Then, since Skippy "save" Kelly from unemployment, Elio made a deal w/Skippy not to run anyone against him in the last election. I'm sure they won't run anyone again in 2014 because now Kelly is booking the casino & I'm sure the "deal" will be made again for another raise with all the "new" responsibilities she's taken on. I totally agree the City Civil Service should be eliminated, it's totally corrupt.
As far as B. McTygue goes, he may not always "hang" with the most "acceptable" Saratogians but then who the hell does? Skippy has Ron Kim,Donna Buckley,Blockhead Cogan,& Mayor Johnson has Shawna Sutton. That being said, Bill McTygue is a very intelligent man with management skills & leadership skills Skippy can only dream of. To quote Skippy, "You know"

It seems that Susan will harass anyone to achieve her devious ways. the School Board holds no overs ight over the City center. They have problems of their own with budgetary differences. perhaps shee should recommend a fund raiser.
8:42 - I would agree that Billy has all the skills needed to be Commissioner of Public Works. Two questions - Will he run? and will he get away from the power brokers who doomed his brother's fate as Commissioner. he is going after Skippy thru Madigan every chance he gets to get even but how can his dismiss the lack of loyalyty to his brother when this group ditched him for Skippy who seems to have more support from the Dems and local people rather than the Republican Committee when they wake up to the fact he doesn't give them total support. It seems somewhat hypocritical.
Unfortunately the Democratic Party has not respect for anyone but themselves. Do they really have any ligitimate concerns about the City or is it just power that feeds their ego and disrespect. I observed at the State of the City that the Democratic Chairman did not even remove his beret for the Pledge of Allegiance. If they don't respect the country and he sets the tome how can they respect the city and its taxpayers. If he repeats this perofrmance at a Council meeting I may just take it off for him. You cna write that in stone like his head I guess.

I would beg the question; Who do you think you are? What part in history do you think you Play?
Do you think that you are the man that changes our constitution, you greater than any, override
the rights of millions? You change our founding document ? You think that you may change the
bill of rights at will? I think not, and many others also. Make all the grandiose speeches you want.
Display your histrionics on stage, all that you may, you will not change one basic fact; Your law
means nothing, it is illegal. It will not be followed. It will be met with nothing less than defiance.
We are Americans, not New Yorkers. You trample on the rights of all of us when you attempt to
legislate away an amendment to the constitution. There is no document more sacred, no words
more honored than those enshrined in the bill of rights. You obviously have put yourself above that.
You obviously think that you are greater than that. You obviously think that you may do as you will
with our rights. But you sir, are nothing more than a man. A small and petty tyrant, who carves out

I heard that the police were there last week because a student was beating his HOE in the hall and a teacher tried to stop it.

The Saratoga Springs City School District voted to give raises to all their administrators, then complained they didn't have the money to make the front of the Geyser Road School safe. Shouldn't that remove any, and all of them, from ANY sort of discussion on public safety.
Here's an idea, why doesn't the school district simply vote to shut it doors. Sub contract the whole educational experience. Let all the kids pick any private school they want in the capital district. Then, take the tens of thousands of dollars the school district would SAVE on EVERY SINGLE child who gets a K-12 education, and we can use that money to make all kinds of things 'safer" - and probably without stepping on anyone's rights in the process.

What's most disgusting is the honor being paid to one Larry Bulman (really should be two "ls"). He is a pig of the first order and ran the party like a fraternity at a really crappy college. The County Party is more concerned with appearances and not action. This event only displays their lack of respect for women. If the party was so cohesive, how come they can't unseat the current Emperor?
Let's face it folks. Whether it be a Republican or Democrat there are two changes that have to be made in the current council Those changes lie with the departments that totally mismanage 75% of the city budget.Dpw has a liberal commissisoner that can't manage with a deputy that doesn't follow up on anything and is very impartial to his circle of friends. In DPS you have a far left dentist who obviously can't manage who reflects his values and not the values of the city. His deputy is a political operative who has been associated with a failed mayor and failed commissioner, one who tried to change the form of government to suit her needs and another who supported a Public Safety Dynasty and was a out of control spender. It would be totally unacceptable if these two were not challenged on the lack of ability and voted out of office. Morale in both of these department has fallen to a all time low and performance as anyone can see on a daily basis is deteriorating. We need people who can motivate and lead.
Jan 27 7:35 AM - Couldn't agree more. The DPW dept. is at it's lowest. The Commissioner hasn't a clue how to manage the dept. including his city hall office employees, and the Deputy only knows how to pave a street, hang with his DPW "buddies" in the JJ clubhouse, & drink in & out of work.
First off - I'm as left as they come, yet fiscally more conservative (but not 'stoopid' conservative like this country has seen the past few decades or so). Positively more Dem. than Rep. But for the life of me, I will NEVER figure out the democrats in this city. They have to be the most dysfunctional local political party I have ever seen in my life. Even when they do get power, they do nothing but fight and argue amongst themselves and get nothing done. Personally, I've had it with BOTH parties in this city. Can anyone else see that all this growth without a solid infrastructure beneath it is a HUGE mistake?? It's like everyone who is elected in this damnable city is out for the almighty dollar, and everything else be damned. There is a couple 'contractors' in this city who should have been cutoff at the knees LONG ago, but now they own this damn city. And BOTH sides just held their hands out and let it happen.
Isn't it about time people took this city back - before it belongs to people who don't understand what it is all about?
BUT - I will say this: if I had a public works issue, Skip was always there to solve the problem - as was Tim Cogan. I've fought flooding issues for 50 damn years where I am now, and they were the only ones to see the REAL problem and address it. They went above and beyond the call of duty, and that shouldn't go unknown. You can have the McTygue's. They are worthless in my opinion. But Skip has been prompted, and always has got back to me. He's EARNED my vote. And there is nothing I hate worse than voting republican in this city, believe me.
