Well folks it was slim pickings for food at Nancy Salzman birthday extravaganza tonight as Espian’s steered clear of the being spotted at the informal gathering. Food was in short supply as the most interesting dish was veggie burgers that were sandwiched with rice cakes. Later guests chowed down on popcorn doused with soy sauce & nutritional yeast . All of this washed down with some nice soy milk. Fred the butcher {god rest his soul} would have been proud
I know many of you are disappointed about missing this lavish party but it’s not too late to join in the fun

And one rumor circulating tonight was that super famous NXIVM singer Don Wos here hot off his wildly successful concert series in the Saratoga Winery parking lot and his legendary one night only show at Sunset Bay Campgrounds on beautiful Sacandaga Lake, Broadalbin, NY that sent raccoons running for the hills will be headlining.
There will also be a special car wash in Apropos parking lot to help cover the bands expenses.

I also noticed that there are repeated claims that Trustco Bank is now 'partnering' with House Detective. However, I can find no mention of this partnership on the Trustco Bank website. I've had a savings account at Trustco for about 12 years, but I'll be closing that account and taking it elsewhere if I find out that Trustco is allowing their name to be used to promote the business of a longtime member of NXIVM.

I've was a touring musician for over 30 years, and I did have the unfortunate opportunity to hear Wos and his "band" play once. Really rather horrid. In fact, he personally is just plain awful. Guitar out of tune. Terrible dynamics and he couldn't keep a tempo if he had a metronome glued to his ear. Executive Success my ass! There is another local "musical expert" also heavily involved in NXIVM/ESP. This character, John Chiara, is quite a case. He pretends to be a sound engineer. I've heard his so called "mixing" and it's laughable. He's also the same guy who lost a near fortune a few years back in a very foolish business deal. Executive Success? LOL!!!
I know the McCormacks and they don't take people falsely claiming endorsement by their band lightly. They are as fast to sue at Vanguard is. I just fired off an email to one of their attorneys. Let's see what happens.

I took classes at Nxvim for about 18 month's in 2006-2007. Have had no involvement since then...never held any rank other than student. I can give references to anyone via email for my professional skill set. I will accept ANY challenge in this arena. There are many of us out here who took classes for a while and then either couldn't afford more or didn't have the substantial time required to go further...or left for personal reasons. We obviously had nothing to do with the business and legal operations of Nxivm. Someone emailed me today saying..."you are an active member of Nxivm...I can look up your student number!" You can look up the numbers of all the members who left the company in the highly publicized shakeup a few years ago....but they obviously are not still with the company. If someone was in prison 20 years ago you could find a prison number..that doesn't mean they are still in prison. For those trying to track down the truth in this situation, I applaud you..but I wonder how publicly trashing ex-students who have no influence or current involvement with Nxivm, and are working to support their families, is furthering this process? it seem to be just what Nxivm is accused of doing..harassing
people and making their lives a defensive hell. I am no financial wizard...I make good and bad choices...just trying to make a living in the real world...which I sometimes do mixing some high quality local bands.

Fellow in the pic looks so vulnerable it's painful. Makes me really feel the hate for how predatory Executive Success Programs and NXIVM is. How much money has the poor guy already spent? Thousands, for what?

Sometimes this does turn into a witch hunt. The problem w/ NXIVM and vanguard and nurse nancy is that they are a pyramid scheme praying on innocents with the emphasis on INNOCENT. People that went to classes are, by and large, the victims of the scheme. I thought the whole point of this blog was to prevent NXIVM from hurting more people, not to further destroy the lives of the victims. I think the post about the above person should be removed.
I disagree as a local business owner I am free to choose who I employ and what vendors I use. I will not knowingly hire or contract with anyone who ever took a NXIVM course.
1. They have shown an incredible lack of judgment
2. They must suffer from low self esteem and confidence problems to have had a need for their services..
3.Futher I will not advertise on Talk1300 or knowingly ever employ any attorney that has ever represented NXIVM.
I would also like to point out that since NXIVM is a for profit corporation and not a religion I am perfectly within my rights to discriminate against anyone who ever took one of their classes. I have worked too hard my whole life to entrust anyone who ever needed these hand holding self help classes with my money.

Just a note...the classes were about as far from hand holding as I can imagine. There is good to be taken from every experience. I agree we all have the right to discern as we see fit in our personal lives and businesses. I do the same and also honestly inform others whom I feel should know my personal experience. Again, it gets dicey when commenting on a public forum and with questionably accurate information...but hey...it's a free country so...rock on.

1. Would you have continued taking more classes, if not for the time and cost issues?
2. One and a half years -- that's quite an investment right there. Would you say you gained from the experience? Were the investments (time and money) worthwhile?
3. The timeframe you mentioned roughly corresponds to the time when you owned a certain high profile business in Troy. It is no secret that your tenure there was, shall I say, unsuccessful. Now, there should be no shame in trying something brave like this. But, why were the skills learned from ESP not of help?
4. Were any other Espians (including Raniere) involved in advising you in the running of that business?
5. Do you care to make any public comment on ESP and NXIVM here?
6. Do you feel you have the freedom to make a negative comment towards ESP, NXIVM or Raniere, without repercusssions?
7. What are your opinions on the "it has the basic qualifiers of a cult" allegations long made against the organization?
8. To you "prison" point. There is a reason employers often ask applicants for criminal history: it shows past judgment abilities and character. Do you not think the same can be true here when it comes to this Nxivm nonsense?

I have told my history...I have no further knowledge of any dealings. The classes were useful in many ways..noone had any communication with me on running a business...actually just the opposite...no interest would describe it.
I think we should allow Mr. Chair his privacy. He has admitted his error in becoming involved with them and has wisely abandoned the group. He's obviously operating a legitimate business now and we should all wish him great success. He obviously recognizes the severe, if unfair consequences of publicly denouncing those sociopaths and doesn't wish the legal wrath they could release on someone they see as a threat. He should be considered lucky to have escaped their clutches relatively unscathed.

My venue NEVER hosted any such events,,Jness didn't even exist then,,as far as I know. I am not going to anyone about anything...don't you read the rest of this blog? Many of wish we could use our real names but this is a public forum read constantly by van fat, the crazy ass nurse and offspring, and the bloodsucking lawyers that suck off the Broffman teat. And since just about anyone who says that nxivm isn't the best thing to happen to humankind since the post it note gets sued they are a little gun-shy. For some reason, I have a feeling that may be the reason that you aren't saying more and I respect that. Of cours, it could also be because you still believe in that pile of crap they sold you (for god knows how much money) and if that is the case then I just feel pity for you.
