Did anyone else have the pleasure of trying to navigate the west side today. Do we even have a Public Safety Dept? Where is the planning, the traffic controls, are all the police out taking Riot Control training today? As Ron likes to say “Someone going to get killed folks”

Yes.. I have to agree it was a complete fustercluck, and still is on Church St. Was any consideration given what-so-ever on the traffic impact of shutting down one of the most major thoroughfares in Saratoga. The traffic has been backed up: both directions on west ave, both directions on Washington from Broadway to West Ave. Someone ought to see the disgruntled expressions on the drivers getting around Saratoga. There is frustration, cussing, and inevitably, will be accidents, and road rage. All the DPW did, was put up a couple of detour signs, and you are all on your own ! SWAT Training ?? Perhaps the Police Dept. should take some traffic safety courses and learn how to direct traffic. FUSTERCLUCK INDEED !
